Copy adds sidebar entries to your current account and moves Claude's "deleted" notes for those sessions aside, kept in ~/Library/Application Support/PurpleRestore/Markers/. - Nothing is overwritten or deleted. Your old account is never written to, and its files are checked unchanged after each copy. - Each Copy records what it did in ~/Library/Application Support/PurpleRestore/Copies/. - Sends nothing over the internet. - Direct download, not the App Store: the App Store sandbox can't read the folders where Claude keeps your sessions. ## Fine print Sessions you deleted in Claude can often come back, but only if the conversation is still on your Mac. Claude may remove it when you delete, so we can't promise it.
